Day 1 - Kota Kinabalu / Kinabalu National Park / Laban Rata
Early morning pick up from city hotel & depart for 2 hours drive through Crocker Range. Upon arrival at the Kinabalu Park, register with HQ. Then together with mountain guide, transfer to starting point to Timpohan Gate, Mount Kinabalu and start trekking up the mountain. The box lunch can be consumed along the way as the trekking will take about 6-7 hours. Upon reaching 11,000 feet, check-into mountain rest house. Dinner at rest house restaurant. Overnight at Laban Rata.
Day 2 - Laban Rata / Kinabalu Park / Poring Hot Spring

Before sunrise, wake up at about 0200 hours in the morning & start trekking up to the summit of Mount Kinabalu. The trekking will take about 3-4 hours. At 0600 hours, you will witness the glorious sunrise over the majestic Mount Kinabalu. Descend to Laban Rata. Breakfast at the rest house restaurant. Check-out and start trekking down to the Timpohon Gate. Transfer back to park HQ to collect your very own Certificate of Achievement. Lunch at local restaurant.
If time permits & proceed to Poring Hot Spring. Upon arrival, take a quick dip in the hot spring pool which most people believed to possess healing effect on the tired muscles. Option to trek to the Canopy Walkway to experience life and sight from above tree tops. Afternoon, depart back to Kota Kinabalu.
Suggested Things To Bring: Warm clothing, long pants, personal toiletries, trekking shoes, raincoat, torch, plastic bag (for keeping garbage / keeping dry clothes), hand gloves, chocolates & insect repellent.
