Day 1 – Kota Kinabalu and After Sunset

(Estimated ETA: 1500hrs) Meet with our friendly representative at the airport and proceed for check in to the hotel. Afterwards we will start to explore Kota Kinabalu starting with a stop at Signal Hill for a bird’s eye view of the whole of Kota Kinabalu. After the breathtaking view and splendid photography, we will proceed for an afternoon stroll along the waterfront esplanade and enjoy the sunset view. Reaching the evening diner areas, choose at own expenses amongst variety of restaurant which serves from local delicacies to western palate on the waterfront area. Beers and other cocktails are also served here for you to enjoy at own expenses. Beer hopping are advisable to fully explore the area. Return back to hotel after an entertaining night.

Remarks: Tamu Donggongon only opens every Thursday & Friday only. Shall the trip falls on days not open, we will substitute with normal local market.

Day 2 – Penampang: The Land of Local Beverages and Head Hunter (Breakfast Included)

After breakfast, depart for a visit at one of Kota Kinabalu oldest local market, the Tamu Donggongon. Here we will explore local alcoholic beverages along with local delicacies sell by local vendors with interesting taste and colors. After the memorable visit, we will go deeper inside the Kadazan land to visit one of a local factory producing home-made lihing which is a local rice wine. Enjoy some wine tasting or buy some for home before we proceed to visit Monsopiad Cultural Village, one of the famous headhunter in Kadazan history. The village is exactly the location of the famous warrior which is now managed by his descendent. After the historical visit and glimpse of the decapitated skulls, stop by at one of the famous seafood / local restaurant which were famous around the area for a little foodie adventure (own expenses). Afterwards, continue our compelling visit with a stop at famous local karaoke & lounge still in Penampang area. Return back to hotel after an exciting night.

Day 3 – Island Visit and More Aramaiti (Breakfast & Lunch Included)

NOTE: Things suggested to bring at the islands are sun block / tan lotion, swimming attire, towel, extra clothes for change, personal toiletries etc.

After breakfast at the hotel, pick up at 0900hrs for boat ride to Mamutik Island. After a fun time of snorkel and hot sun, enjoy sumptuous barbecue lunch at the island while enjoying unlimited ice cold beer from our own cooler box! Late afternoon, take the boat getting back to mainland to return to our hotel. After grooming up, depart to visit one of the most popular club in Kota Kinabalu (own expenses). After an eventful night, return back to hotel for rest.

Day 4 – Bon Voyage (Breakfast Included)

Check out at 1200hrs. Transfer to airport for a flight back home with enthralling memories of Sabah.
