The 4,095m mountain race have attracted top international runners from 18 countries as well as locals , all vying for the honours and the total purse of RM36,000.

Dubbed as the toughest mountain race in Malaysia, it has enticed 129 participants from all over the world and that includes runners from Australia, Bangladesh, Brunei, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Denmark, France and Germany, Japan, Great Britain, Hong Kong, Singapore, Spain, Thailand, South Africa and United States.

The official result of the race is recorded as follows:-

Elite Men
1. Safrey Sumping (Malaysia) – 2:18:28
2. Lel Kipchirchir (Kenya) – 2:20:22
3. Daved Simpat (Malaysia) – 2:20:42

Elite Women
1. Sandi Menchi Catlona Abahan (Philipines) – 3:04:30
2. Ahineh binti Dainin (Malaysia) – 3:09:33
3. Valentine Jepkemoi Serem (Kenya) – 3:28:07
