Itinerary
Day 1: DEPART KUALA LUMPUR TO CHITOSE (MOB)
Gather at KLIA Airport for departure to Chitose.
Day 2: ARRIVE AT CHITOSE – NOBORIBETSU – LAKE TOYA (L/D)
Upon arrival at Chitose, meet and greet with the guide and driver. Proceed tour to:
Noboribetsu Johokudani – A spectacular appropriately named valley just above the Noboribetsu Onsen, which displays hot steam vents, sulphurous streams and other volcanic activity
Mount Showa-Shinzan - Literally means “Showa New Mountain”. As it formed during the reign of Emperor Hirohito, known as the Showa period
Bear Ranch - Showa Shinzan Bear Ranch where you can see zo brown bears up close. You can see bears in their natural state up close, and you can even try feeding them cookies
Lunch and dinner at local restaurant. Transfer to hotel and check-in. Overnight in Hokkaido
Day 3: LAKE TOYA – OTARU - SAPPORO (B/L)
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Tour today will visit:
Otaru Canal – Rows of old warehouse built of stone stand along the canal. There is a stone-paved promenade and the old-fashioned gas lamps are lit and provide a romantic atmosphere
Sakaimachi Street – It is an attractive, preserved merchant street in Central Otaru and famous with Kitaichi Glass and Music Box Museum
Shiroi Koibito Park – It is a fantastic space based on the ideals of deliciousness, fun and stories of sweets from a by gone era. In addition to housing the Shiroi Koibito Factory where this well-known Hokkaido confectionery is produced, the park also has a cafe to allow visitors to try Ishiya’s original sweets, the Cookie craft Studio, a toy exhibition room and the Rose Garden. The place visitors see, taste and experience here will make for truly “sweet” memories!
Mitsui Outlet Park – The largest outlet park in Hokkaido Tohoku Area with a wide range of popular foreign and domestic brands available, including overseas luxury brands, ladies, men’s and kid’s fashion, sportswear and outdoor clothing, fashion accessories and house hold and interior goods.
Lunch at a local restaurant. Dinner will be at guests own arrangement. Transfer to hotel and overnight at the same hotel
Day 4: SAPPORO (B)
Breakfast at the hotel and guests are free at leisure.
Day 5: SAPPORO (B/-/D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Today’s tour will visit:
Hokkaido Shrine – In 1869 the Meiji Emperor decided to enshrine three Shinto Deities: Sukunahikona, Ookunitama and Ookuninushi. They became the three deities of Hokkaido. The building for the shrine was built in 1871 and was called “Sapporo Shrine”
Odori Park - The park stretches about a kilometer and a half over twelve city blocks and offers pleasant green space during the warmer months. In early February, the park serves as the main site of the Sapporo Snow Festival.
Sapporo Clock Tower – Beer Factory – Duty Free Shop and Tanukikoji Shopping Arcade.
Dinner at local restaurant. Transfer to hotel and overnight in Sapporo at the same hotel
Day 6: CHITOSE AIRPORT (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Guest is free at own leisure until transfer out to airport for departure.
