Itinerary

Day 1 (23/9/2019) | Kinabalu City tour + Sunset | Meal: No Meal
Meet and greet at KKI Airport and proceed for City Tour.
Kota Kinabalu City is the gateway to the Land Below the Wind. It is the state capital for Sabah. 
Places to visit: -
• Pass by Sabah State Mosque where you can see a single minaret that stands alongside of massive golden dome encircled by 16 smaller domes.
• Stopover at Sabah Museum and learn more about the rich heritage of Sabah.
• Visit Poh Toh Tze Buddhist Temple where you can see ten large statues of deities, including Kwan Yin, the Goddess of Mercy stand at the main entrance of the temple.
• Pass by KK City Mosque
• Pass by Tun Mustapha Tower (formerly known as Sabah Foundation Building); built in 1977, the sparkling 30-storey tower block is one of the few buildings in the world that utilize a single column structure.
• Signal Hill ~ takes a bird’s eye view of the city.
• Tanjung Aru Beach ~ to witness our beautiful sunset (Subject to weather)
Return to the hotel for free at leisure. ~ END OF TOUR ~

Day 2 (24/9/2019) | Manukan Island Tour + Proboscis Monkey & Fireflies | Meal: Lunch + Dinner
0900hrs pick up from the hotel and transfer to the jetty for about 15 minutes boat ride to Manukan Island. You may go for swimming, snorkelling or just sun-bathing along the beach as well as enjoy the water sports activities at your own expenses. 1200hrs, a sumptuous BBQ Lunch is served. 1330hrs return back to the mainland and continue with a river cruise.

Depart from the city and the journey takes approximately 2 hours drive to the Southern part of Kota Kinabalu. Enjoy the scenic view as you pass through paddy fields, oil palm plantation and native houses among others. Upon arrival, light refreshment (local tea/coffee served with local cakes) is served in the typical village house. With the bizarre-looking proboscis monkeys gaining as much popularity with the tourists as the Orang Utan, the Klias Wetland with its large proboscis population is fast becoming the latest ecotourism destination in Sabah. These tree-dwelling animals normally hunt for food in the evenings so many boat cruises depart the jetty at around 1600hrs. Other riverside residents that may be spotted are macaques, crocodiles, monitor lizards, tree snakes and birds such as the eagle. Back on the jetty enjoy a natural light show when thousands of fireflies put on a glowing performance for your benefit. A sumptuous kampong style dinner is served. After dinner, return to the hotel.

Day 3 (25/9/2019) | Poring Hot Spring + Kinabalu National Park | Meal: Lunch
0730hrs pick up from the hotel and proceed for about 3 hours drive to Poring Hot Springs through the scenic mountainous countryside. Upon arrival, a must visit the Treetop Canopy Walkway which will take approximately 20 minutes hike. Experience the height of 41 meters above the ground and the length of 170 meters treetop bridge. Or you may just take a dip in the open-air Japanese styled bathtub where the hot sulfuric water is believed to have curative power. Lunch at the local restaurant. Then, continue the journey to Kinabalu Park, Malaysia’s First World Heritage Site for a visit to the Mountain Garden
